Dr. Samantha Goodin is a clinical psychologist who works with adults and children.  Dr. Goodin provides individual counseling with adults (ages 18+), for concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences, and life transitions.  She also has special interests in providing counseling for college students and young adults.  Dr. Goodin works from an interpersonal psychodynamic perspective, while also integrating techniques and ideas from dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in order to meet each individual’s needs.  She values creating a safe and supportive space to help individuals explore problematic patterns in their lives, build compassion for themselves, and try out new ways of being with themselves and others.

Dr. Goodin also provides assessment services for children (ages 5+) and adults, to help address questions about possible ADHD, learning difficulties, psychiatric diagnosis, or other emotional/behavioral difficulties.  In addition, she is a member of the Public Safety Forces Evaluation team at WRPA.

Dr. Goodin received her Psy.D. from the University of Indianapolis and completed her clinical internship at the University of Akron’s Counseling and Testing Center.  She is a member of the Ohio Psychological Association.
